Born and raised in arizona, oldest of 6, and a long history of cooks in my family.
I love feeding people, and have a passion of food, sharing the tastes of my creations. Although, I chose bbq, I felt it represents home back yard feel and brings family, friends closer to celebrate life. Pitstop Smokehouse is a play on words...... "Pitstop" can go one or both ways, "auto racing/tailgating" and or a quick stop along the way to a destination. Taught by my mom. With the recipes from my great grandmother, grandmother, and my mom,, i cook for you, a variety of home made culinary foods.

one of my three daughters, graduate of ACI (arizona culinary institute) specialty is saucier, business management,culinary chef. ashley helps run the business side and cooking. at times (pt) you will see her help with set ups, and serving along side with me as she prepares to opening up her own restaurant in near future .
